Inside the app

Scan, verdict, next step

Lock focus on the item, confirm what was identified, then read the verdict with the reasoning and poison-control hotlines already on screen.

Features

Built for the moment it matters

Every part of the app is designed for a stressful thirty seconds: fewer taps, plainer answers, and an honest admission when the evidence is mixed.

01

Point and scan

The scanner locks focus and captures automatically, so there is less fumbling when your pet has already grabbed something.

02

Verdicts tailored to your pet

The same grape or leaf is not equally risky for a five pound kitten and an eighty pound dog, so answers account for species, breed, age, and weight.

03

Backed by real toxicology data

A reference database of common toxic and safe plants and foods for dogs and cats is checked first, and a confirmed match is treated as authoritative.

04

Confirmed before you get an answer

The app asks you to confirm what it identified before giving a verdict, rather than dressing up a guess as a confident "safe".

05

Scan a whole bowl

When several items are in frame it identifies each one and ranks the most dangerous first, so you know what to act on.

06

Ask anything

Not sure what you are looking at? Type a question and get a pet-specific answer in plain language.

Questions pet parents ask

What can I scan?
Foods, houseplants, garden plants, and common household items. Point the camera at the item, or pick a photo from your library.
Does it work for both dogs and cats?
Yes. You create a profile for your pet, and verdicts are adjusted for species, breed, age, and weight. The reference data covers common toxic and safe foods and plants for dogs and cats.
Is this a replacement for calling a vet?
No. Pet Toxicity Lens gives general informational guidance only. If your pet has eaten something toxic or is showing symptoms, contact your veterinarian or a pet poison helpline immediately.
What happens when the answer is not clear cut?
You get an honest "not sure" instead of a false certainty, along with the reasoning and the sources behind it, so you can decide whether to call a professional.
How does the free trial and subscription work?
The annual plan includes a three day free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can manage everything in your Apple Account settings.
